Verbier is quite literally the most ideal flying site that I have ever seen to learn to fly. We have two perfect training hills, a ridge that reliably works for ridge soaring and two top landing locations. Beginners can start with small hops and rapidly progress to longer flights. Our top to bottom elevation is 4,500ft, so airtime quickly adds up to hours in no time at all and due to our superb micro climate we are able to guarantee that a student can complete an EP COURSE or CP COURSE in just a week.

And now as a BHPA school, why would you learn anywhere else?
PARAGLIDING COURSES
Verbier-Summits run all BHPA courses including:
Verbier-Summits is truly a professional paragliding club set in the beautiful Swiss valley of Verbier. It boasts conditions that are second to none with virtually guaranteed weather conditions. I had the opportunity and pleasure to learn to fly with the club in August 2009, an experience that has changed my life for the good forever. My training was not only well planned each day but supported by lectures and video footage at their first-class accommodation set on the hillside overlooking the valley. The friendly and supportive advice prior to each flight certainly got rid of any early learning nerves that existed. Mike and Stuart who run the club with their team of advanced instructors are always there to provide support and encouragement. I can honestly say I had the most fantastic time of my life while there and made many friends who still keep in touch. In fact, we are all planning our next trip back to Verbier. My choice to fly Verbier-Summits was clear; with typical British weather I probably would have been frustrated and unable to continue the adrenalin rush that’s infused when you take that first flight. The choice became easy particularly when the current exchange rate with the Swiss Franc over the Euro makes it very affordable indeed. Thanks guys for a fantastic experience.
