- BHPA Senior Instructor
- PPL (Private Pilots Licence)
- Medic first aid instructor
Verbier Summits was created and is run by twin brothers Stuart and Mike Belbas. They have now been flying for over 17 years, from powered aircraft to hang-gliders and paragliders. They have been teaching paragliding for over a decade and have also worked for the DHV testing paragliders.
The brothers are passionate about flying and teaching others to fly.

Thanks so much for the feedback and the interest. Mik is currently out onboard ‘Discovery’, a yacht that is sailing around the world on a kitesurfing and paragliding expedition. They have a winch on the boat, so I can’t give you any local contacts to fly there I’m afraid. The boat is now sailing to the Southernmost atolls and after that it will be heading for Reunion island.

Hi Mike & Stuart,
Just saw your amazing paragliding photos that you shot in Maldives. A good friend of mine,Alsan ,who is a Maldivian & probably the first paragliding pilot from Maldives sent the facebook link to your photos. I am glad that you flew there.Could you give us more info about how you went about flying there….whom to contact to fly etc.
